Where did it all go wrong? Brian, once TV’s idealistic young heartthrob Dr. Brodie, sits in his hotel room somewhere in the Western Isles. On the evening of another cancelled performance, he wonders what happened in the last 20 years. The once-beckoning golden future is…where? Was it an illusion? Has it come to this?

Kinloch…Somewhere is a dark, comic and existential adult drama performed in English. We join Brian as he confronts his self-delusion and a past that may not have fulfilled its promise, and his disillusionment with a world where identity and success are increasingly defined by fame, celebrity and television. Using humour, contemporary music and specially created film this exciting work will challenge views of society and relationships with oneself and others as Brian’s past triumphs grow dim and his twilight years close in around him.

Monday 23 February at 8pm in Uig Hall (£8/£6).  The full touring schedule includes the Lanntair, Eden Court and other points east, west and north.
