FilmG winners announced and future secured
FilmG, the Gaelic short film competition established in 2008 by the media company MG Alba to source new material for the Gaelic tv channel BBC Alba (coming to Freeview later this year), has been awarded a grant of £20,000 from the Scottish Government to secure its future.
The winners of the third annual competition were recognised at a ceremony in Glasgow on 18 February. The Uig entry, Leabhar na Beatha, won Keith Stringer of Erista the First-Time Director award.
