Just a note of my Great Grandfather and my Great Great Grandfather both came from The Isle of Lewis
Great Great Grandfather’s name wae Hector Morrison born 1814 and came to Canada 1832 died 1902
Great Grandfather’s name was Roderick Graham Smith Born 1850 he also came to Canada Died 1925
Both men worked for the Hudson Bay Company if any one knows of their ancestors I would like to here from them

I am trying to find information on John Maclean & Ann McIver (Reiff) also his son John Maclean & Anne Macdonald (married 26th Feb 1850 Uig) I believe may have resided in Mangersta.
John & Anne Macdonalds son Angus Maclean (born 1866) is my Great Grandfather and was a Police Constable in Govan, Glasgow.
Is there any way I could find out their dwellings or holding in that area as I intend visiting the area in the near future?
